The Rolls-Royce of phones

I was on edmchurch.com when I came across this... it looks simply amazing. It literally is the Rolls-Royce of phones... the noly thing missing is a butler to do all the dialing for you!

If all things go well, then I'll be going for a breakfast with Mandy tomorrow morning... early morning. I went to the new ikea and I felt like I should get her something for her new place because... that's the thing to do. Nothing too outlandish but nothing is bad, so, I got her a bamboo plant and this vase... hopefully it won't be too much... we'll see.

Had my meeting with Pastor Larry about the Mandarin Retreat. It looks interesting, I wish I could figure out something I could definitively help them with-so far I'm relegated to doing the rec stuff... that's important enough.

I keep on thinking I should start studying Job it just seems like the right thing to do but-should I start at the beginning? in the middle? Go with the flow? I dunno.... somewhere.

Stupid Computer Tricks

Scroll all the way down for the grande finale of the exploding cockroach. This reminded me of the snake e-mail that was passing around a while ago.

I may not be the model..

I always thought of myself as calm and quiet, but I can kick it up when I need to... maybe at the BBQ I was a bit too loud maybe? I'm not sure, I don't think so.... soo many things to think about...

Weird and yet not surprising...

So I was talking with Di yesterday and she was mentionning how she wanted to give the retreat some thought, put it into prayer and ask for confirmation. Today's message: "Do you love Chinese?" by Pastor Lam. It centered on 1 Cor. 9:16-27, basically about the seven motivations for sharing the gospel with anyone (including Chinese). I couldn't help but to think, wow, what a confirmation... that was incredible!!

I've been trying to figure out how to install a SOAP module for Perl, I just found some instructions. Give it a whirl.

You never forget how to ride a bike...

but you can forget how much air to pump in the tires. I biked the River Valley trails with Jesse and Ed today. Its been at least a few years since I last biked at all (rollerblades are cool :P) so I wasn't quite sure how well I would match up. Anyways I dropped off dad and then was a minute away from Jesse when all of a sudden my front tire blew out!! I think it was partially due to friction and too much pressure. It wasn't exactly scary just surprising. Ed didn't bring a lunch so I gave him my bagel. The ride itself was long but really good we went all the way to Rundle park so that must have been around 24 or 25 Km round trip. It always surprises me when Jesse starts yelling, even though he's done it before I just don't know what to think.

Di asked me to help her out with this mandarin camp. At first I really wanted to but I kept on thinking that maybe it might not be so good because people don't know me. What would they expect? She's very supportive though... Arnold once again made an off-hand comment about me and Di, fortunately he made another comment about me and Chrissy and hopefully that will neutralize everything. I didn't say anything in either case because I knew that whatever I said would only make things worse.... funny how it is. Silence to overshadow noise.
