Peer into the mind of Dan as he tries to build an MP3 Player for his PDA and searches for the next thing in his life be it an electrical engineering job or graduate school.
The retreat was a lot of fun. Got a great chance to meet and talk with Pastor Larry. It was also interesting to be with Diana and Judith for like more than a few hours (more like a few days). Both mornings I was able to go and run with Pastor Larry; on the first day I think we ran for about half an hour but on the second it was like this trail-blaze run where we ran for about an hour and twenty minutes!! I'm surprised I survived! I also had a chance to share a part of my testimony. I say a part because I left out when I went for baptism and a whole bunch of other stuff. Looking back on it-I'm pretty happy to be me. There was also a fundamental difference: Maybe its from my days with DE but I remained pretty chipper... I guess being able to work with some young people was really cool-we even played Murder Hack and taps! That was really cool.
Installed Raiser's Edge on the server and then installed all the workstation copies. Fixed the Okidata ML-320 printer to print a custom page length. (That was easy once I found out that you had to go the 'Server Properties' instead of the 'Printer Properties'). The more I look at Raiser's Edge, the more I think I could possibly build something similar... maybe not as complex as a server but at least for the smaller organizations.
