"Logical" Interface

In a recent project I've had to work more and more with Unix which required the use of vi. It's pretty easy to run vi, simply type 'vi' at the prompt and voila! Off you go! BUT what if you want to exit out of vi? What would be a logical way of leaving vi (mind you this is all text-based so no mouse clicking :P Why according to the above link you LOGICALLY hit the following sequence "Control - Q Control -C ESC Z Z" OF COURSE! Soo obvious-why didn't I think of that when I was trying to look it up.

Trying to get back into "it"

MANY changes since I last blogged-all of them pretty good :D. I was thoroughly enjoying my cruzer mini 256 MB Flash USB drive when suddenly it died!! It was working an hour before; I was using xmplay to test some files out and then when I went to try and use my Portable Firefox a window popped up asking me to insert a disk into the USB drive. I stopped the drive, unplugged and then replugged it back in and the same message popped up. I suspect it may have something to do with the read/write cycles of the memory but I'm not sure. I've only had the thing for a little bit over a month and I couldn't believe how handy it was :( Hopefully warranty will come and save the day!

Hmm... what else. Lately I've been foraying a lot into XML and Jabber, although I can't say what I'm working; the idea is pretty cool and the people I've explained it to seem to be pretty excited about it as well (which is a good sign). Having an idea like this is like having a great secret-you want to share it but I want to make sure it works first.
